The popular sport that has emerged as a variant of the traditional gym volleyball , the beach volleyball in the beginning was just fun, but gradually transformed into a competitive sport, and since 1996. is in the Olympics.

Beach volleyball is a popular entertainment for all, from those who just want to recreate on the beach, to professional players. Many tournaments in beach volleyball are organized in Rovinj.
Beaches in Rovinj are mostly gravelly and rocky, but you’ll also find several sandy beach volleyball fields.

The closest field from Ulika camping is the one in the tourist village Villas Rubin.

Just 5 minutes walking from the center of Rovinj, former railway station, there are two volleyball fields, and a bit more north on the Porton Biondi beach, another one.
More north, in the Amarin resort there is also nice volleyball field.

If you go from campsite Ulika south to the Cisterna beach, on a half-way, into the Vestar camping, is another ground for beach volleyball.
