Camping Ulika is located on the beautiful coast of Rovinj, in Istria, one of the most beautiful and popular tourist resorts in Croatia.

Rovinj is a small fishing town that in the last decade has been moving much towards tourism. In addition to hotels and tourist complexes, Rovinj offers the opportunity to stay in one of its camps, including our mini camping Ulika.
In 2008 and in 2009 we entered in the nomination between the 8 best small campsites in Croatia, and this year, 2011, we won the third place as „The best-related camping capacity up to 300 persons“ in Croatia.

Rovinj is close to small towns in the interior of Istria such as Motovun, Grožnjan, Žminj, Dvigrad, Pazin, and it is not far from larger cities such as Rijeka and Pula or Brijuni National Park and Natural Park Učka.
The ideal location of Rovinj, however, does not make it a place of high traffic and transition and its beaches and historic center remain quiet and safe.

ABOUT THE MEDITERRANEAN CLIMA IN ROVINJ?

The mild Mediterranean climate means that summers are hot in Rovinj with long days, perfect for enjoying the sea and to spend evenings outdoors. Springs and autumns are mild, ideal for outdoor excursions, do not require warm clothing and are not too hot for sport.
The healthy life, a return to tranquillity, nature, sports and wholesome food, stay in the open and clean air with the smell of the sea, helps to regenerate body and mind to all the campers.

The camping Ulika is located between the countryside and its location is ideal to go in any direction by car or by bicycle, motorbike or even to relax in long walks in nature.

WHICH ARE THE NATURAL BEAUTIES OF ROVINJ?

The preserved and unique nature surrounds the town of Rovinj, on one hand, with its crystal clear sea, the many islands and the myriad of beaches and coves, and on the other hand, vineyards, countryside, the bird park Palud, all sites where You can immerse in nature and breathtaking scenery.
The flora and fauna of Croatia, Istria and Rovinj is extraordinary and diverse. For those who love the sea, they can explore the seabed and join the various diving centers, but it is also ideal to use masks, tubes and fins to snorkel. A few kilometers from the campsite You can visit the natural park of Palud which is the only ornithological park in Istria.

ALL ABOUT THE SEA IN ROVINJ

The beautiful sea, the islands, the bays and the beaches where You can practice many water sports without large waves and high tides. As a guest of the camping You can get out every morning and go to a different beach where You can sunbathe in peace, play with Your children or choose to have fun in one of the most crowded popular beaches.
The naturist beaches of Rovinj are secure and accessible. Our camping is located near one of the naturist beaches of Rovinj and in only a few minutes walk each visitor can choose a place in the sun.

MANIFESTATIONS, FESTIVALS, FAIRS… WHAT ROVINJ OFFERS?

The gastronomy of the Mediterranean, the tasty and fresh food, the taste of sea and countryside, fish, olive oil, vegetables, wines… For those who decide to visit Rovinj it is offered a wide choice of dishes and inside our camp we can offer many culinary delights in the restaurant „Maestral“ that we manage.
Rovinj is also one of the most animated city in Istria. The city centre offers events of various kinds, from Salsa Festival, Rovinj at night, the art event – Grisia, the evenings concerts, folk and modern music.
