In Rovinj and the surrounding area there are three climbing areas on which due to favorable climatic conditions it is possible to climb from early spring to late fall.

The closes climbing spot from the Ulika camping is the one in the park forest Zlatni Rt.

It is located about 2 km from the camp, directly on the beach in the beautiful surrounding and it’s perfect just because of the proximity of the sea where you can freshen up after a hard climb. The rocks, which  once  served as a quarry, and which were used even in the construction of the Venetian palace, are  located at the top of the cape, with a beautiful view of Rovinj’s archipelago. There are 80 mostly easier directions, and the rock is therefore suitable for recreational climbers and climbing courses. In summer, the rocks are in the shade till 1 pm, and when it gets too hot , you can refresh in the crystal clear sea below the rocks. In late summer hours we recommend climbing to the top of the rocks and enjoying the magnificent  sunset.

Moving from Rovinj to Porec, about 20 km from the center of Rovinj, the Lim Fjord is located.

A deep valley extends from the center of Istria, Pazin, all the way to the sea and ends with a 12 km long bay. Name Lim fjord probably originates from the ancient times when it represented the limit (limes) between Rovinj and Porec. At the end of the canal is the rock with about 60 directions up to 25 meters in length, and can be climbed all year round. Rocks are facing south, and in the summer season are in the shadow after 5 pm. The sector of the Horoscope in the sun all day, a sector of the Circle is only  in the morning in the shadow.
Lim canal is frequently visited tourist destination, due to the attractive bay and mussel farms, which are served in two restaurants.

A few kilometers from the Lim Fjord, there is a long time ago abandoned medieval town Dvigrad.

By car from Rovinj towards Kanfanar, you will arrive in 15 minutes in Dvigrad. Near the ruins, at the very top edge of the valley there is a compact rocky barrier, which in addition to the number of routes and rock quality, with its idyllic environment  is interesting and gladly visited climbing spot. The rock has 63 direction, among which the hardest direction is Malvasija which has so far climbed only the famous Italian climber Maurizio Manolo-Zanolla in early 90-ies. In summer time, the rock  in the shade after 4 pm.
