For nearly four decades  Rovinj’s Night

is a part of the history and tradition of the town of Rovinj. Every year at the end of August this manifestation is held, and it lasts for three days, during which many sports, cultural and gastronomic events are organized, with which the tourism officials say goodbay to the season and thank all the guests and visitors for staying in Rovinj.

As a part of Rovinj’s night, usually the first day,  a Fisherman’s night is held, marking the start of construction in the open, the construction and launching of the traditional boat of Rovinj - batana. Fisherman’s night represents the life of Rovinj fishermens, their customs and skills, Rovinj songs - bitinade, all accompanied by a fishing gastronomical delicacies and rich cultural and entertainment programs.

The second and the third evening of the event are reserved for an attractive musical program and culinary delights in several locations.
Performances by local and international performers simultaneously in multiple locations creates an unforgettable atmosphere for more than 20 000 visitors.
Reputable Rovinj and Istrian wine makers and oil producers represent quality wines and olive oils, with the accompanying rich cuisine.

Spectacular long-term fireworks,

one of the most beautiful and oldest in the Mediterranean, is a trademark of Rovinj’s night. The highlight of the event, accompanied by music, is beeing watched from the shore and the  sea precisely at midnight the last night of the event.
Fireworks symbolizes the end of summer and thanks the  loyal guests for another visit to the romantic town of St. Euphemia.
